Membership Requirements
Requirements for Western Uganda FBO Network Membership
- You should be registered and have a certificate – a photo copy should be presented
- Well established with office premises and a visible physical address
- You should have an approved constitution/ articles of association endorsed by the head of the organization and bear a stamp.
- You should present your most recent Annual Report or Strategic Plan
- Provide copies of your publications if any, including brochures, posters e.t.c
- Fill a membership form and return to Western Uganda FBO Network with all the above documents attached.
An application fee of 25,000/= UGX is paid once, on submission of the above requirements. Annual membership subscription fees are; 70,000/= for District Based FBOs/NGOs- NGOs working in only one district, 150,000/= for National FBOs/NGOs- NGOs working in more than one district, 450,000/= for Membership or network FBOs/NGOs – NGOs with other affiliated members including District Network, 750,000/- for International FBOs/NGOs- FBOs/NGOs originating outside Uganda. On receipt and review of the application form and other documents, a visit to your offices by a staff or representative of Western Uganda FBO Network will be made and on official acceptance, your organization will be given a membership certificate and added to our members database and mailing lists.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network tools and materials on family health and wellbeing, gender equality and women’s rights and pluralism.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network capacity development activities, including trainings, technical assistance, exchange visits.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network’s fora and events for knowledge sharing, learning, networking and partnerships.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network’s professional services to develop and implement programs, project design, advocacy and programmatic project implementation, monitoring, evaluation and research, resource mobilization.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network’s strong voice and representation in national, regional and international decision making processes.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network’s material on trends, progresses and opportunities.
- Western Uganda FBOs Network’s prospects to showcase work to wider platforms.
